CTTC participates in the European Training Network (ETN) program as partner of the WindMill project, a H2020 Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Innovative Training Network (ITN). WindMill aims to train and prepare Early Stage Researchers for the challenges ahead of future information and wireless communication networks, by integrating wireless communication engineering and machine learning disciplines.
Such interdisciplinary training is required to address the magnitude of the complexity and data volumes foreseen in future B5G networks, which require the development of new network management, radio access procedures and optimization tools. The project targets the theoretical advance on the field of Machine Learning for wireless communications, the development of prediction schemes and anticipatory optimisation for fast-varying processes, to devise data-driven optimisation schemes for radio access management and to address system-wide cognitive optimisation schemes considering context-awareness optimisation and security aspects.
CTTC starts its engagement in this training program embracing two new Early Stage Researchers, Roberto Pereira & Muhammad Jadoon. Our research grows with our teamwork.
