The Mobile World Capital Barcelona, through its initiative 5G National Observatory, developed in collaboration with the Spanish state Secretary “Secretaría de Estado de Telecomunicaciones e Infraestructuras Digitales”, presented at the MWC2023 a collaboration agreement with the UNICO I+D project “Telecommunication Studies Promotion Plan”. This collaborative project is coordinated by the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (COIT), with 12 beneficiaries (9 universities and 3 research centers), and several industrial associations and enterprises to promote STEM vocations with special attention to the Telecommunication Engineering studies; crucial to successfully address the new technological challenges ahead of the digital transformation spurred by 5G networks.
