CTTC offers novel power amplifier linearization solutions for 5G/B6G smartphones and tablet PCs with efficient transmission for up to 200 MHz signal bandwidth. This technology allows to increases battery life, reduces heat dissipation, and provides better signal coverage. The work was carried out in the context of the CONVERGE industrial project, where UPC designed the envelope tracking digital predistortion algorithms, while CTTC developed a resource-efficient FPGA prototype implementation validating the achieved improvements.
