CTTC is exhibiting at the upcoming IoT Solutions World Congress 2023 (31 January – 2 February 2023). Come and visit us at the Government of Catalonian Pavilion (Hall 4, Booth 4). We are showcasing a solution for increasing driving safety. The V2X EyeGuard is an online hazard detection system, developed at CTTC, for driving applications. The solution is based on depth-camera vision, enhanced by Machine Learning algorithms (YoloV4) and V2X Technology. Our smart sensor is able to not only to safely warn vehicles when detecting pedestrians or animals on the road, but to alert other users and increase awareness of traffic dangerous events in real time thanks to the V2X telematic wireless communication unit. It also integrates a user-friendly dashboard to alert drivers and operators of such hazards.
The solution targets vehicle manufacturers as well as mobility managers and traffic operators.
The V2X EyeGuard has been developed in the context of the 5GMED European project, devoted to the Sustainable 5G deployment model for future mobility in the Mediterranean Cross-Border Corridor.
