AROMA3D-SPACE - Comunications towArds Reliable B5G/6G cOMmunicAtions in 3D networks – Non-Terrestrial Segment

AROMA3D-Space (within the coordinated project AROMA3D) aims to develop the non-terrestrial segment of the 3D network. AROMA3D-Space will consider innovative access schemes, large-scale MIMO solutions for satellite, multi-satellite federated beamforming, as well as inter-satellite communications in addition to processing in the sky solutions based on mobile edge computing (MEC) techniques. In addition, several experimental demonstrations, including a demonstration based on the pre-6G non-terrestrial network, will be carried out to enable the validation of the various project concepts in a relevant satellite environment involving in-space signal and in-orbit validation.
